A Love Story

As a young girl, founder and CEO Shalonda Gibson grew to understand the meaning of love when a local social service agency provided Christmas gifts for herself and family while her mother was experiencing financial hardship. Shalonda recalls the sound of rejoicing when her mother and siblings gazed through their family room window to see a van of staff and volunteers ready to provide them with things they needed for the holiday season. From that day, Shalonda made a vow to pay it forward; thus Operation Love Outreach Minitries transformed from a hopeful desire into a mission to change the world through the Love of Jesus Christ. Operation Love Outreach Ministries provides resources and services to low to moderately low-income families, youth and persons living in homelessness. Operation Love Outreach Ministries not only reaches out in the spirit of love but loves the operation of loving and empowering the community.
